Take up our 10 actions to help reduce your carbon footprint
We originally asked people in 2008 to adopt at least 5 or more of actions which were listed on a card posted through letterboxes (by hand) in the summer of 2008.
   
Once people had ticked off 5 or more actions they were asked to put the 'greening card' in their window. Over a 2 week period the number of displayed cards were counted. This provided a measure of how the town has reduced its 'carbon footprint'.
