The Sol Cinema & Bike powered game boy a hit at the First Music Festival in the town The music festival was a huge success and the organisers did a great job in running a wonderful day.
Thanks goes to the Alresford Greening Campaign and Local Company Herpetologic ltd
The Solar powered cinema was in place by 11am and the festival was open - during the morning a steady trickle of customers were experiencing the wonder of the smallest solar powered cinema in the world. By the afternoon there were long queues outside the Sol Cinema which was free admission to all festival goers. People were so pleased with the experience that they came back for more - plenty of funny, inspiring films were shown through the day - what was really special was the screening of the Act on Co2 film which was recorded at the Alresford Low Carbon Living Fair at Perins School on the 27th February. At the end of the day - 11am to 17.30 over 350 people had made it through the solar cinema - with an average of 10 people per session that was 35 screenings over 6 hours (the cinema was closed for lunch for 1/2 hour)
